Second Sun Industries is the AI division of Second Sun Holdings, a small, family-operated company based in Iowa. Our sister division, Second Sun Media, handles photography and video production. We handle the AI.

We started building AI tools because we needed them — for our own document pipelines, our own translation work, our own internal operations. The systems worked, so we packaged the ones that generalized (UnaVox, Anima) and offered the rest as services.

The thing that makes us different from the average "AI consultancy" is that we run our own infrastructure. We size our own GPUs. We deploy our own models. When a client asks us to build a system that runs on their hardware, we're describing the way we already work, not a sales pitch.
